New Mills rounded off a season to forget as they bowed out with a 3-1 loss at Darlington 1883.
The Millers had a few chances early on but it was the hosts who took the lead in the 17th-minute when Mota hit a fine shot from the edge of the area which clipped a post on its way in.
Roy Soule’s side levelled on 26 minutes when Windsor chipped the ‘keeper in fine style.
Five minutes into the second half Darlington regained the lead when Watson put in a good cross and Pennal managed to get in front of the advancing Chalmers to head home.
Darlington were playing with much more purpose and after a few near misses, they found the third.
A clearance by Hopper from inside the penalty area only went as far as Walton on the 18-yard line who lashed the ball straight past Chalmers.
