CHINLEY FC are back – with a bang.
The newly-reformed side has taken the B Division by storm, winning their first five league games and scoring 25 goals in the process.
And last Saturday, Chinley progressed to the next round of the Roden Cup with an 8-2 demolition of second-placed B Division side Bamford.
Manager Stuart Timpson, who is in charge of the new Chinley team alongside Gary Butler, already has his eyes set on promotion.
He said: “The lads have done really well to win their first six games.
“We have got some really good players, a good mixture of youth and experience, and the side has really knitted together well.”
