Buxton handed tricky away tie at Northwich Victoria in FA Trophy

BUXTON FC have been drawn away to current Evo-Stik Premier Division league leaders Northwich Victoria in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Carlsberg Trophy.

The Bucks, who knocked out Garforth Town 4-2 in the last round on Saturday, will travel to face the Vics at the Victoria Stadium on Saturday November 5 (kick-off 3pm).

The Bucks have picked up just one point from their last three league meetings against Northwich, the latest of which ended in a 3-2 defeat at the Silverlands on the opening day of the season.

Elsewhere in the draw, neighbouring Leek Town host Witton Albion, Chester have home advantage over either Newcastle Town or Stafford Rangers, Durham City entertain FC United of Manchester, and Matlock Town travel to Hednesford Town.
