Buxton were given a huge boost earlier this week when top scorer Liam Hardy committed to the club for the 2015-16 campaign.

Hardy hit 24 league goals as the Bucks just fell short of the Evo-Stik Premier Division play-offs last term.

However, despite plenty of suitors the striker has opted to stay at the Silverlands and becomes the first member of Martin McIntosh’s side to sign up for next season.

Meanwhile, the Premier Division has confirmed its line-up for next season with six new teams entering the fray.

They are: Hyde, Colwyn Bay, Darlington 1883, Mickleover Sports, Salford City and Sutton Coldfield.

Darlington and Salford in particular will doubtless bring big followings to the Silverlands in what is expected to be a tight Premier Division next season.
