Buxton have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Arron Jameson.
Jameson, aged 24, has signed terms at the Silverlands ahead of the upcoming 2014-15 campaign.
Manager Martin McIntosh said recently that Jameson was a player he had been trying to sign for some time.
He said: “I’ve been speaking to Arron for weeks and weeks now.
“He’s played at a good level and he’s somebody we have been patiently tracking.”
Jameson started his career at Sheffield Wednesday and enjoyed a flurry of loan spells during his time at Hillsborough.
He made two outings for the Owls, both coming against MK Dons back in the 2010-11 season.
Most recently he was on loan at League Two Bradford City, before being released this summer by the Owls.
Jameson has big gloves to fill after the Bucks saw veteran Andy Warrington take up a coaching role at former club Rotherham.
The Bucks begin their Evo-Stik Premier campaign at home to Nantwich on August 16.
