One club that won’t be making a visit to the Silverlands however is Worksop Town.

The Tigers’ well-documented off-field troubles have seen them withdraw from the Evo-Stik League.

Last week they were confirmed as being part of the NCEL Premier Division, representing a drop of two divisions in the non-league pyramid.

In total 2014-15 will see six new sides enter the Bucks’ division.

Workington also enter the league after their relegation from Conference North, whilst Stourbridge have been transferred across from the Southern League Premier.

McIntosh will be hoping the Workington game in particular is not arranged for a midweek, whilst other long trips include games at Blyth, Whitby and King’s Lynn.

Meanwhile, the Club has confirmed that the friendly at home to Altrincham on July 8 will now kick-off at 7.15pm.

This is to ensure supporters are able to watch the World Cup semi-final the same night, which kicks off at 9pm.

Buxton are hopeful of agreeing an away fixture for Saturday July 19 to complete their pre-season schedule.

The proposed game would be their only away friendly ahead of the new season, which kicks off on August 16.
