Bucks back to winning ways

BUXTON FC moved back up to sixth place in the Evo-Stik Premier Division following Tuesday night’s 1-0 win at Chasetown.

Kieran Lugsden’s 15th goal of the season, just after half time, secured the win over the FA Trophy heroes, in front of a crowd of over 400.

The Bucks are back on their travels on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) when they face Burscough in the league, before returning to the Silverlands next Wednesday (February 16, kick-off 7.45pm) for the visit of former NCEL rivals Borrowash Victoria in the semi-finals of the Derbyshire Senior Cup.
