Weather permitting, after one abandonment and one postponement, Alfreton Town and Whaley Bridge will re-play their Derbyshire Senior Cup third round tie at the Impact Arena.
The original tie was abandoned after 66 minutes with standing water on the Impact Arena pitch making the game a farce and the re-played game never got going due to a waterlogged Impact Arena pitch.
The Reds were leading 1-0 at the time of the abandonment in the first game thanks to a 25th minute John Johnston penalty following a hand-ball offence and Whaley then found themselves reduced to nine men due to two red cards being issued.
The winners of the tie will have a home game against Long Eaton United to look forward to, possibly on Tuesday, January 12th in the quarter finals.
Admission prices have been reduced to £6 for adults and £3 for concessions (over-65s and under-16s).
There is no segregation in place for this fixture which kicks-off at 7.45pm.
Extra time and penalties will be used if necessary.
