Slater refuses to give up fight

Buxton's Second team lead their league but sadly their game at Ambergate was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

But a good performance on Saturday away at Quarndon can put the team in pole position going into the final weekend.

Buxton's Third team travelled to Langley Mill and an experienced home side progressed easily to 202 for 7 off their 40 overs.

Joe Bagshaw, Chris Hazelhurst and Noah McChahill shared the wickets.In reply, junior Bagshaw showed his talent with an outstanding 73 including 10 4s, enabling Buxton to end on 132 for 6.
