Buxton Football Club’s ‘Bucks in the Community’ scheme returns next week with a host of summer football camps in association with Chris Hill Community Sports.

Two camps are running through the holidays, from Monday August 4 to Thursday August 7 and Monday August 18 to Thursday August 21.

Both camps run from 9am-4pm and are aimed at boys and girls aged five to 14.

The cost is £44 for the week or £11 a day. All camps will take place at Harpur Hill Primary School.

The four-day camps will include a range of different footballing activities including shooting, crossbar challenges, goalkeeper training and street soccer. The culmination sees a World Cup-style tournament on the final day.

There will also be a chance to win trophies and prizes, including chance to be a mascot at a Buxton game.

Buxton FC Community Coach Chris Hill said: “It’s great that these camps are returning and we are looking forward to another exciting couple of weeks.

“It’s very much for us, by us and we look forward to introducing the club to the next generation of Buxton supporters.”

There are still places available for the camp. Call or text Chris on 07970 634994.
