LETTER: Festive fun in store at church Christmas fair

On November 25 over 40 people will get together to run St Peter’s Church Christmas fair at the church hall (doors open at 2pm).

They spend all day Friday and Saturday making sure that everyone has a wonderful afternoon with lots of lovely items to buy and some wonderful prizes in the grand raffle and on the tombola.

The grand raffle has been supported incredibly by Buxton’s generous businesses with gifts from Bramwell & Singleton, Sidebotham’s Jewellers, Simply Thai, Bell’s Shoe Shop, Buxton Car Centre, Capricorn Hair Studio, Buxton Car Centre Trade Sales Ltd, Geoff Mycock & Son Butchers, Buxton Opera House, Fairfield Builders and Buxton Woodworks.

There are several other prizes donated by St Peter’s parishioners and friends of our church.

If you want raffle tickets they are still available from Capricorn Hair Studio, The 19th Hole and members of St Peter’s Church. They will also be available on the day.

Father Christmas is planning to pay us a visit so do bring the children. We look forward to seeing you all there.
