LETTER: All the roads are putting kids at risk

On the subject of the traffic lights at the five ways junction, what about the effect it will have on pedestrians trying to cross?

There is a junior school nearby and the community school. Lots of children have to make their own way to school.

There are too many roads to have to look out for, and children and the elderly don’t judge traffic speed, so they could think they might have time to get across.

There is a saying that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, so campaigner Martin Cassini should have a rethink.
