Earlier this month High Peak Borough Council was awarded £2m from the Housing Infrastructure Fund - a government capital grant programme - to unlock access to development sites at Hogshaw and Granby Road.
Work must start on Fairfield's new roundabout in two years
Construction work on a new roundabout and access roads on Fairfield Common must start by March 2020.
