The New Mills sweet manufacturer, which produce Love hearts, has launched a national competition ahead of Valentine’s Day.
It wants to find the top five ways people popped the big question.

Hide AdSarah-Louise Heslop, marketing manager at Swizzels, said: “Love Hearts are traditionally made for romance and this Valentine’s Day we want to celebrate the brilliant ways that people have proposed to their loved ones.
“We know that romance comes in lots of different shapes and sizes and that everyone’s idea of what’s romantic is different.
“We’re really looking forward to finding out about the weird and wonderful ways people have proposed.”
In the run up to Valentine’s Day, Swizzels produces a massive 750 million Love Hearts - eight million of which carry the words Marry Me?

Hide AdAll people need to do is write up to 250 words explaining why their proposal is the most romantic and can share a photograph too.
One winner will be chosen and four runners up will receive a years supply of Love Heart goodies.
The competition will close on Sunday, January 31.
