Members of Whaley Bridge Arts group say they are “delighted” after 300 people turned out to their annual exhibition – and spent big on paintings from local artists.
Organisers said the exhibition, held at Uniting Church on Sunday, was the busiest event so far. Club Secretary Jean Jeremy said: “The event went extremely well. And all the people seemed to love it. We sold more paintings than we ever have before. We are delighted.”
