Weather warning issued for Derbyshire as Bakewell Christmas Market is cancelled
The Met Office has issued a weather warning in relation to high winds.
The rest of today will see very windy weather with severe gales expected to affect some areas.
Bakewell Christmas Market, which was due to take place today, has been cancelled as a result of the weather conditions. Derbyshire Dales District Council tweeted the news.
Gusts of 50 to 60 mph will occur in some areas. The yellow warning lasts until 6pm today.
