Walk across broken glass for charity

Sight Support Derbyshire are giving fundraisers the opportunity to take part in the first ever glass walk in Derbyshire.

Volunteers will walk barefoot over four metres of smashed sterile wine bottle glass on March 22 at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium.

The event will be run by Time4Change and their instructor Cliff Mann has spent two decades guiding thousands of people over glass.

Cliff said: “Walking on glass is an exercise in challenging and developing the mind and body connection. It proves to be a rewarding and unforgettable experience in your journey to a greater understanding of how to breakdown the deep routed fears we carry around with us.”

Two hours training will take place at 6.30pm with the glass walk taking place at 8.30pm. To take part you need to raise £100 in sponsorship.
