A Buxton pharmacy has reopened after thieves smashed their way in during a night-time raid.
Police were called to Peak Pharmacy, on Scarsdale Place, at 4.15am today (Thursday) after a member of the public rang 999 to report seeing two men leaving the shop as the alarm sounded.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire police said: “The men entered after smashing the glass front door down.
“They then smashed a glass cabinet and stole the bottles of perfume inside.”
Officers were going door to door this morning making enquiries, and the forensic team has also been on site.
Police are now looking for the two men, one of whom is said to be 5’8’’ of slim build wearing a blue tracksuit and white baseball cap.
The other is said to be 5’7’’ of a medium build and wearing a baggy orange walking jacket.
The two men were seen leaving the shop with an orange bag and ran off between The Coach House fish and chip shop and Bet Fred.
