VIDEO: Derbyshire Santa Dash fundraises for Chesterfield College students
Students, staff and spectators wore their best festive outfits to dash around a Chesterfield park this morning (December 14) as part of a sponsored run.
The fundraising Santa Dash took place at Queens park from 9.30am to raise money for a group of student volunteers from Chesterfield College to travel to Ghana with African Adventures in the summer of 2016.
The students are planning their trip to Africa to work on construction projects, teach and coach sports in some of the poorest regions.
The run was opened by the mayor of Chesterfield and the college’s principle, Stuart Cutforth.
