Police have confirmed that Snake Pass has re-opened following a two-car collision earlier today.
The incident, involving a VW Golf and a Toyota Avensis took place at around 11.20am this morning (October 27), leaving the main route between Sheffield and Manchester closed to traffic.
Derbyshire police have now confirmed the road is re-opened to traffic with medium delays to be expected.
Derbyshire traffic police tweeted at 15.40pm warning of the collision on the winding road.
The team said in a tweet the road was "closed due to this RTC and recovery of vehicles".
A spokesperson added that there were no major injuries.
