Two homes burgled in same day in Derbyshire village
Residents in a Derbyshire village are being warned to be vigilant after burglars broke into two houses on the same day.
Two Chinley homes were targeted by the burglars, who took a number of high-value items.
At one house, the burglar smashed patio doors and took designer handbags, including Mulbury and Louis Vuitton.

Hide AdThey also took a large amount of jewellery, such as a Tiffany necklace and a women’s Michael Kors watch.
At the second house, a thief broke in through a side door and took a men’s Patek Philipe 5980 watch and men’s IWC Portofino watch.
The incidents took place sometime between 6.30pm and 10pm on Friday, January 29 and high-value items were stolen.
Police have only just released this information to the press.
