Two-car smash closes town road
A road in Bakewell was closed after a two-car smash.
The crash, involving a Toyota Yaris and a Volkswagen Golf, happened on Baslow Road, outside Newholme Hospital, at about 9.30am last Friday. One of the drivers of the vehicles was taken to the Northern General Hospital to be checked over. The road reopened at about 10. 50pm.
