Buxton’s Devonshire Dome will be transported back in time for this year’s Dickensian Market this weekend.
The former stables will play host to the annual event for one year only on Saturday November 7, while the Octagon is closed for repairs.
The market will feature more than 50 stalls selling goods in support of local charities.
Shoppers will be entertained by musicians and circus performers throughout the day.
High Peak Mayoral Charity Committee Chairman, Bill Weston MBE, said: “Over the years hundreds of people have given their time and effort to put on the Dickensian Market and our community is without doubt all the better for their kindness.”
In its 23 years, the market has helped raise around £200,000 for local charities.
One the day it will open its doors from 10.15am until 4.15pm.
