Two public consultation events are being held to explain plans for a Kinder Trespass Visitor Centre in Hayfield.

An information day will take place at St Matthew’s Hall, Hayfield, on Saturday from 10.30am to 3pm, featuring an exhibition by the Kinder Visitor Centre Group relating to their current work.

Group members will also be on hand to answer questions, and cards and photographs will be on sale.

A public meeting is also being held at the Royal Hotel, Hayfield, on Wednesday October 22 from 7.30pm to 9pm.

The meeting will begin with a presentation, followed by the opportunity to ask questions, exchange opinions and contribute suggestions.

A written feedback form is also available from a number of locations in Hayfield, alongside the group’s consultation newsletter.

After three years of working towards creating a centre in Hayfield featuring the 1932 Mass Trespass, the group are now looking to access grants for the acquisition of premises and are consulting about the best way of selecting a property and location.
