Treasure hunt in Glossopdale

GLOSSOPDALE Conservatives are holding their annual Treasure Hunt on Monday, August 1, and are inviting Glossopdale residents along to have a go.

This year the Treasure Hunt is a combination of driving and walking, starting at the Municipal Buildings Car Park off Victoria Street in Glossop, and finishing at the Commercial Inn on Manor Park Road for a buffet supper.

Glossopdale Conservatives Chairman Jamie Douglas said:

“Our Treasure Hunt has become something of an annual event, and is always a very enjoyable evening as everyone tries to solve the clues.

“This year the Treasure Hunt is a combination of driving and walking, all within the Glossopdale area so that it’s easily manageable. There’s also a great buffet supper to look forward to at the end.

“We hope that a lot of residents will come along to join in the fun and test their treasure hunting skills.”

The Treasure Hunt starts between 6:30pm and 7pm at the Municipal Buildings Car Park, is £8 each and free for children 12 and under.
