Three people are in hospital after a two car collision in Chinley.
At around 1.30pm on Thursday afternoon, the police, fire, ambulance and air ambulance services were called to a two car collision on the A624 in Chinley.
The collision involved a Ford Fiesta containing two people and a Peugeot 206 containing one.
The driver of the Peugeot was taken by air ambulance to Wythenshawe hospital in Manchester and the driver and passenger of the Ford Fiesta were taken by land ambulance to the same hospital.
It is understood that the casualties’ injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The incident led to the road being closed at Hayfield for a time but by 7pm it had reopened.
