Vehicle fire shuts A500 stretch north of Stoke
A vehicle fire has closed the A500 north of Stoke-on-Trent between the junction with the A34 and the junction 16 of the M6.
Drivers should seek alternative routes as this stretch of the northbound carriageway is not expected to be operational again until 7.45am this morning.
