Tractor driver dies after collision in Carsington

The collision happened about 5pm, on Thursday, November 20, on Gibfield Lane, Carsington, with a red Honda Civic car.

Police confirmed that the 60-year-old, who lives in the region, was pronounced dead at the scene after the tractor overturned.

The deceased was driving a blue tractor which was involved in the collision with the red Honda Civic car not far from Ashbourne.

The 46-year-old car driver, a man from Chesterfield, sustained slight, seat belt injuries.
