Three separate crashes on Derbyshire roads

Three separate crashes happened on the area’s roads over the weekend.

A Land Rover and a Ford Focus collided outside the Hare and Hounds pub, in Simmondley Village, Glossop, just after 7pm on Sunday.

The Land Rover ended up on its side. Neither driver was injured.

A Toyota Avensis and an Audi Q7 crashed on the Woodhead Pass at about 4pm on Sunday.

A passenger in the Toyota was taken to hospital in Tameside to be treated for chest injuries.

Just after midnight on Saturday, a Ford Fiesta ended up on its roof after crashing on Turnlee Road, Glossop.

A passenger suffered varies injuries – including to his face – and was treated at Manchester Royal Infirmary

Police closed the road for a short time.
