Three hospitalised after A6 crash

Three people have been injured after two cars crashed on the A6 near King Sterndale.

The crash happened on the stretch of road known as Cowdale Corner yesterday, Sunday, December 11 at 7.45pm.

Two women and a man involved in the collision all needed medical help and two were taken to Wythenshawe Hospitaland one went to the Manchester Royal Hospital.

A spokesman for Derbyshire police said: “A Nissan Micra and Nissan Juke were involved in the collision. While all people involved had injuries luckily none of them are serious or life changing.”

Police said the three people were still in hospital this afternoon but stable.

The road was closed until 1.45am this morning. Anyone who witnessed this is asked to call Derbyshire Police on 101 quoting 1132 of 11/12/16.
