Thousands more to enjoy speed boost

Work to bring superfast broadband to businesses and residents in Derbyshire is continuing.

More than eight miles of cable will be laid to provide faster internet speeds to more than 1,600 firms and homes in areas including Hathersage, Grindleford and Hope Valley.

It is the latest development as part of the £27million Digital Derbyshire project to provide more than 95 per cent of the county’s businesses and residents with access to superfast broadband by the end of 2016.
