Thieves grab large amount of cash from Derbyshire restaurant on Valentine's Day

Officers are looking for witnesses after a large amount of cash was stolen from a restaurant on Valentine's Day in Glossop town centre.

Thieves entered a restaurant along High Street West and stole the cash from the store room sometime between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday, February 14.

Police investigating the theft are appealing to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the Bernard Street area between 2.30pm and 5pm.
