Chesterfield magistrates’ court heard on Tuesday July 12 how Callum Bonney, 19, of Tideswell Walk, Glossop, had been in a relationship with Kerrie Wilde and despite her attempts to end it he had continued to turn up at her address.
Prosecuting solicitor Becky Allsop said: “The initial complainant is Kerrie Wilde who is the ex-partner of the defendant and they have a child together.
“She has tried to end the relationship but he turns up at her address.
“She had been to a christening on May 29 and he had contacted her throughout and when she returned home he was waiting and punched her in the face and she suffered a split lip which caused swelling.

“Days later, on June 2, Kerrie Wilde’s mother Joan Grayson was at the address where Bonney lives because there were belongings and he pushed her and she fell over out of a door and suffered a fractured wrist and she described him as being aggressive.”
Bonney later visited Kerrie Wilde on June 6 demanding to know about Facebook comments concerning her and he said in front of their child that if she did not tell him about them he was going to slice off Ms Wilde’s mum’s head.
The defendant pleaded guilty to assault by beating, assault occasioning bodily harm and making threats to kill.
Defence solicitor Kirsten Collings requested a probation report before magistrates sentence Bonney.
Magistrates adjourned the case until July 26 to consider a probation report before sentencing.
