Tale of man who wakes up as a giant beetle

An unusual and striking play about a man who wakes to find he has become a giant beetle is coming to Tideswell.

Based on the famous tale by Franz Kafka and written by Stephen Berkoff, the play – which will be performed by Tideswell Community Players – has been stunning audiences for many years.

With dark humour and scenes of a family in turmoil as Gregor’s fate unfolds, the production promises to wow crowds.

The show will be staged at The George Hotel, Tideswell, at 7.30pm on April 25, 26 and 27.

Tickets cost £6 and £5 concessions.

They can be bought from Tideswell Post Office and Litton Stores.
