Take a walk to help kids

HIGH Peak residents are being invited to take part in a 24-mile hike to raise money for the NSPCC.

The Buxton High Peak HACK takes place on September 1, and money raised will be used by the children’s charity to support their work in Derbyshire and across the UK.

Helen Verity, NSPCC community fundraising manager, said: “Training for the Buxton HACK is a great way to start a keep fit campaign, and taking part is an amazing challenge and experience.”

The event is open to people aged 18 and over and registration costs £20. No pets are permitted.

For more details and to register, visit www.nspcc.org.uk/buxtonhack or contact the Buxton Hack team on 0113 2182728 or northcanuhackit@nspcc.org.uk.
