Specialist teams rescue '˜unstable' horse
Firefighters and a specialist animal rescue team came to the aid of a horse this afternoon.
Fire chiefs from Glossop and a specialist animal rescue team from Matlock attended a stable at riding school Hargate Hill in Glossop at 8.47am to a male horse which was unable to stand up off its own accord.
The teams used special equipment to help the horse to its feet before the stop message was received at 11.01am.
Crews left the scene at 11.21am.
