BUXTON Mountain Rescue Team had two call-outs to the Roaches, near Leek on Sunday afternoon.
The first was to a 21-year-old male climber who suffered serious head and neck injuries after falling while leading a route.
He was airlifted to hospital for further treatment.
The second call was to help a 29-year-old walker who suffered a knee injury whilst walking the Roaches Ridge.
He was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further treatment.
