This photograph, provided by Victor Gibbons, of New Mills, shows the Flying Scotsman arriving at the 1999 Hartington Moor Steam Rally on a low-loader.

The engine was built in 1923 in Doncaster for the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER).

It was famed for being the first ever non-stop London to Edinburgh service and reached 100mph in 1934 - making it the fastest locomotive at that time.

Do you have any memories of the engine?
