New Mills & District Railway Modellers will again be supporting Blythe House Hospice and other local charities at the club’s 41st annual Model Railway Exhibition.

The event will take place on February 21 and 22 at Chapel-en-le-Frith High School, from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4.30pm on Sunday. There will be approximately 20 layouts, demonstrations and new and second-hand models for sale.

Lucy Marsden, from Blythe House, said: “By asking people to donate their unwanted model railway items and railway books, the modellers then sell on these items at their exhibition and throughout the year with all of the proceeds coming to Blythe House. Last year they raised an incredible £7,000.”

If you have model railway items that you would like to donate, call 01298 815388 or email donations@nmdrm.co.uk.
