Police seek motorist after crash with cyclist in Youlgreave

Police are trying to trace the driver of a car which was involved in a collision with a cyclist in Youlgreave.

Sometime between 1.30pm and 2pm on Thursday, May 14, a woman was riding her bicycle along Alport Lane when she was involved in a collision with a car.

The driver stopped and gave the cyclist a lift home but she did not take his details.

She suffered injuries to her arm.

Witnesses to the collision are being sought and officers are trying to trace the driver.

He is white, aged in his 60s and of stocky build.

The car is grey and its nearside wing mirror was damaged in the collision.
