A retired member of police staff has been presented with a British Empire Award by Derbyshire Constabulary.
The award was made to Peter Taylor in recognition of the MBE he received in June last year.
A police officer for 30 years, he retired as an inspector in 2002. For the next nine years he was an enquiry officer driving the mobile police station.
Chief Constable, Mick Creedon said: “Local people placed great trust in Peter and felt reassured by his ability and reliability.
“He has been presented with the British Empire silver pin to say thank you for his exceptional work.”
