An appeal for information has been issued following an alleged assault in Buxton.

Police say an altercation took place on Fairfield Road between 7.20pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday June 19, during which a man is alleged to have kicked a woman in the face.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire police said: "If you saw what happened, please get in touch."
