Police appeal after arson attacks in Grindleford

Police are appealing for witnesses after two arson attacks in Grindleford.

At 2.10pm on Thursday, July 14, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service called police to inform them they were attending two burning cars on Sir William Hill Road.

A silver coloured Ford Focus and a silver Skoda Superb were both badly damaged in the fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately.

The area is a popular spot with walkers so investigating officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time contact them with any information.
