High Peak residents are being reminded to ensure they plan ahead for their health needs over Easter.
NHS North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are advising patients not to leave it too late to order and collect repeat prescriptions.
Many GP practices and some pharmacies will be closed so people are being urged to use NHS services wisely.
Dr Ben Milton, chair of the CCG said: “If you do become unwell or need medical advice when your GP surgery is closed, please be assured that GP out-of-hours services can be accessed by calling our free, 24-hour 111 health line.”
People are also being reminded only to visit A&E departments for life-threatening emergencies.
