The highlight of a week of events was carnival day, featuring a procession of floats, carnival royalty and fancy dress characters through the Peak District village.

This year’s theme, chosen by Bamford Primary School, was musicals.

An Open Gardens event and family fun day on Sunday concluded the festivities.
