The Easter weekend got off to a bit of a damp start - but that didn’t spoil the fun on the opening day of the Easter Extravaganza at Buxton’s Pavilion Gardens.
The event, which opened today (Good Friday) and runs through until Bank Holiday Monday, features over 70 stalls, a variety of entertainment and activities for all the family.
An Easter egg hunt, children’s rides, face painting and an art competition will be taking place each day.
Tideswell Band will provide music on Sunday and Nantwich Concert Band will be playing the tunes on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Easter entertainment runs each day from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free.
