A mother and her child were inside a house when a window was smashed by a perfume bottle thrown from a car.
Police in Glossop are appealing for information about the incident in Crowden.
It is believed that a perfume bottle was thrown from a vehicle driving along the A628 at around 2.30pm on Sunday, January 24, causing the window of a nearby property to smash.
PCSO Brian Buller, from the Hadfield and Tintwistle Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “A mother and her child were inside the property at the time of the incident but thankfully no one was injured.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the damage, or may know who is responsible, to contact us.”
