With some children at home and some at school, World Book Day was always going to be different than previous years but parents have once again risen to the occasion and sent their little ones off in creative and fun outfits to take part in their lessons – even if it was just from the kitchen table!
Sarah Bennett, deputy head at Buxton Infants, said: “We’ve had lots of fun celebrating book day with the children attending school and each year group has held a Zoom call with all the home learners dressed up at home.”
Here’s a round up of some of the schools and youngsters who took part.
