Podiatrists Jack Wynne and Kennedy Brankin took their colleagues by surprise when they popped into Newholme Hospital, Bakewell, straight after their marriage ceremony.

The couple, who met working for the podiatry team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust, had to change their original wedding plans because of the pandemic restrictions on large gatherings.

Jack is a senior divisional podiatry manager in Derbyshire, who has also been involved in the pandemic response work for Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust over the past few months.

Kennedy is a specialist community podiatrist and manages podiatry rotas in Chesterfield and north east Derbyshire.
