Family-run business CJK Packaging has supplied record numbers of bottles and containers needed for sanitisation and cleaning products for use by the NHS, hospitals, care homes, schools and the hospitality industry.

In addition, the company has responded to high numbers of orders from individual buyers looking to source their own bottles, trigger sprays and other dispensing containers for personal use to control and protect against the virus.

The firm worked throughout lockdown to fulfill its orders.

Joe Sizeland, director at CJK Packaging, said: “We’ve all seen the huge increase in demand for products like hand sanitisers and cleaning sprays over the past few months, with many products selling out in supermarkets and pharmacies at the start of the pandemic.

“This is why we’ve worked so hard to enable the supply chain to provide our customers with the packaging they need. Without the packaging, many of the products which help to control the virus simply can’t be made available.”

As well as supplying essential products UK-wide in the fight against Covid-19, CJK Packaging is also supporting its local community.

An increase in workforce, as well as the development and modernisation of its six-acre site on Charley Lane, has attracted high praise from the local community, including Robert Largan, Conservative MP for High Peak.

Robert said: “These are extremely challenging times for all businesses, but we’re all in this together. CJK Packaging’s work is really important for the local economy, and while more challenges are sure to come, this is the kind of positivity and hope that we all need at the moment.”

CJK Packaging was established in the 1990s and customers in all continents of the world.

As well as bottles, the company supplies buckets and pails, drums and kegs, cosmetic containers and laboratory ware.
